This HDMI scaler is suitable for converting audio and video signals. Audio can be converted from the incoming HDMI signal or from the analog stereo and Toslink ports on the device. The video output resolution of the HDMI signal can be either identical to the resolution of the source signal or converted to a different resolution. This device is ideal for situations where the resolution and frame rate of the HDMI source can not cope with the frame rate/resolution of the display device. Via the on-screen menu or push buttons on the device, you can choose the output resolution, make adjustments to the picture quality or select the audio device.
